Knowing how to fix technical SEO is less about chasing every warning in an audit tool and more about removing the issues that stop search engines from crawling, understanding and trusting your site.

That distinction matters. Plenty of businesses have long lists of technical recommendations sitting in a spreadsheet while the real blockers – indexation problems, broken internal linking, slow templates or conflicting canonicals – keep costing them traffic and enquiries. The best technical SEO work is commercial, not cosmetic. It focuses on the fixes most likely to improve visibility, user experience and conversion opportunity.

How to fix technical SEO without wasting time

Start with priorities, not perfection. A technical SEO audit can produce hundreds of flags, but not all of them deserve equal attention. Some issues are critical because they affect crawlability, indexation or site performance at scale. Others are minor hygiene tasks that can wait.
